knight in shining armour

if there will be a modern rapunzel in these times,
i am sure that all she wants
is to be saved from flood.

yesterday, i failed to go to the office.
it was raining pretty hard
and when i went outside,
the street turned into a fishbowl.
i was trapped.
horrifying feeling crawled up.
andami ko na ngang absent e...
still i do not have any choice but stay at jopet's.
i wonder if i have a knight in shining armour to save me,
aka he's got a ride,
carry me in his arms,
drive me to the office
and will fetch me after.
the handy savior that i can count on.
pero mahirap yun,
he has a career too!

no matter how i try to look tough, independent
and act that everything is all right,
i do always enjoy the benefit of having a "knight in shining armour".

we all want to be saved from something sometimes.
we all do want to be saved
and we all do want to feel that we are not alone-sometimes.

independent and ungrateful that i seem like,
i never forget the good things that people has done for me.

(my friends really are my knight in shining armour
but it's too cheesy and all of them
are going to gag if i blog about how good they are to me.
i bet, i will not be their friend anymore.
we are not the sloppy joe types)
